The 布伦南中心 hosts post-graduate public interest law fellows through a variety of fellowship programs.
The 布伦南中心 is eager to partner with individuals interested in applying for public interest law fellowships, either through the Equal Justice Works, 世达律师事务所, 和柯克兰 & Ellis Fellowship programs, or through grant programs administered by law schools. Legal Fellowship Sponsorship

Such fellowships include those funded by competitive programs like the Equal Justice Works, 世达律师事务所, 和柯克兰 & Ellis fellowship programs, and law-school-specific fellowships, like the Arthur Liman Public Interest Law Fellowship.
Fellows work on current and cutting-edge legal issues, from voting rights to campaign finance reform, from ending mass incarceration to preserving constitutional protections in the fight against terrorism. 我们的研究, 政策发展, and advocacy are aimed at improving our systems of democracy and justice.

乔治. Katz奖学金
乔治一个. Katz奖学金 provides a recent graduate of New York University School of Law the opportunity to spend two years as a staff attorney at the 布伦南中心 for Justice. The fellowship is generously funded by the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in honor of 乔治. Katz, an alumnus of 纽约大学法学院 and a founding partner of the firm. A Katz Fellow is selected every other year. The next opening will be posted in fall 2020.
职责: The Katz fellow works alongside other staff on the 布伦南中心’s public advocacy, 研究, and litigation initiatives. The fellowship rotates among the three major 布伦南中心 programs. The current Katz Fellow works with the Liberty & 国家安全团队. Depending on the program and project area of work, activities may include legal and policy analysis and counseling; legislative drafting at federal, 状态, and local levels; administrative and legislative advocacy; public education and scholarship; and litigation in trial and appellate courts.
资格: The Katz fellow should have excellent legal 研究, 写作, 和分析能力, and possess a commitment to work in the public interest. Relevant past experience and a particular interest in one or more of the 布伦南中心’s specific initiatives will also be valued.
